bring water to Quasimodo when he is being tortured?
La
Esmeralda brought water to Quasimodo as she felt bad for him and she was also
on the other end of that as well. She was also tortured before so she knows how
it feels and doesn’t want others to feel the same pain she did.

What is the theme of The Hunchback of Notre Dame?
The theme
of the Hunchback of Notre Dame is obsession and how people get obsessed over
things and can’t control themselves. Frollo was obsessed with La Esmeralda and
never gave her space when she was clearly married.
